We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team for projects requiring travel throughout Texas and Central US. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician who can work independently, read electrical plans, troubleshoot systems, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality. This position requires frequent travel to various job sites and the ability to work flexible schedules based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform commercial, industrial, and/or residential electrical installations as assigned.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Install conduit, wire, cable, panels, disconnects, fixtures, and electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical terminations and connections in accordance with project specifications.
• Diagnose electrical problems and complete repairs efficiently.
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper operation.
• Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC), applicable local codes, and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Coordinate with foremen, project managers, other trades, and customers as needed.
• Complete required documentation, time sheets, material reports, and job-site paperwork.
• Safely operate electrical tools, equipment, lifts, and other job-site machinery as authorized.
• Travel to project locations and work extended or varying schedules when required.
• Represent the company professionally while working at customer and project sites

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent credentials as required by the applicable jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2-5 years of electrical experience .
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and the NEC.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans.
• Proficient with electrical hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel extensively and work away from home for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and work in varying environmental conditions.
• OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
• Experience with commercial or industrial construction is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems, lighting controls, and backup power systems.

Travel Requirements

• Travel: Up to [75–100] % , depending on project requirements.
• Projects may be located throughout [Texas and Central US] .
• Overnight and extended stays away from home may be required.
• Company-provided hotel accommodations and travel arrangements .

Work Environment

This position involves working on active construction and project sites, including indoor and outdoor environments. Mainly tenant finish out. Employees may be exposed to heights, electrical equipment, dust, noise, varying temperatures, and other typical construction-site conditions. All work must be performed in accordance with company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
